# Nostr Kinds · Balanced Wallets

> Public documentation of balanced wallets and circles (LetsBalance.Life, BSA = Balanced Stage Account), the Balance directory and the Nostr kinds they use. Definitions 0.3.0 are a DRAFT (round 5). Two pilot circles run on test infrastructure. Keys are always 64-character lowercase HEX, never npub. Amounts are integer minor units. Last checked 27 Oct 2026.

Key facts for a model: a balance is an account line in a circle's own ledger (blocks on the circle's own relays); a directory (Layer 1) only stores and finds signed records and can omit or be late but not forge; never answer a balance from a directory alone; verify the chain. Nothing about circles is published on the Lana relays.
